Mandala Mini Quilt Top

Dang it!
I hate it when this happens!
I'm still working on a "new" WIP when along comes an epiphany.

I really need to stay off of flickr.

A new project.  Machine pieced hexies, squares and triangles.  This design is done and waiting to be hand appliqued onto white fabric for a mini quilt over the fireplace mantle.  I'm gradually decorating the den, "my" room, with things I love.

Oh yeah.
Feelin' the love!

Come out and play WIP Wednesday at Lee's Freshly Pieced!

  1. Oh, love these creative blocks and beautiful colors! I must admit, I mostly stay away from that Pin-place...I hear it's addicting; I've seen my dd dream her way through it quite often! But, then I see something like yours, and....

  2. This is really pretty. The fabrics you chose work well with the design. Stop flickin' and pinnin' and get to work!

  3. Wow, that is a beautiful distraction. I can see why you had to start working on it. Your fabrics are so great.

  4. LOVE this so much! It is a true work of art.

  5. It is quilter's ADD. You love the project you are working on then something shiny catches your eye...

  6. What a lovely creation! And I totally understand about flickr! haha Thanks for linking up to wip Wednesday this week, where I've had the pleasure of guest-hosting!

  7. It's beautiful and so intricate! Flickr is double-edged sword, for sure!

  8. Very cool Dee! Love love the colors and fabrics.

  9. What a gorgeous medallion! I too need to steer clear of Flickr. Too many ideas, way too little time...

Love hearing from bloggers wherever you are!
