Sew & Tell Finish!

Waaaaay back in August, I started the back for the Aloha quilt.  6 x 6 rows completed.  Begun with 2" sq scraps from the quilt itself.  A single Irish Chain.

15 x 13 rows of happy, scrappy heaven!

The next step is making the sandwich and pinning it together for quilting.

Linking up with Amy's blog and just as soon as I drop Javi off at BSU, I'm off to catch some eye candy from her Sew & Tell Friday Finish!

Have a blessed weekend!

  6. Holy Cow Dee! i can't believe that is going to be the BACK! It's gorgeous! That is going to be a double sided quilt if I've ever seen one! I do;t know which side I like better sine BOTH sides are absolutely FANTASTIC!! Let me just tell you, if you get this all done and just really don't like it, and rather hate it....there is this address at this Naval Base in Southern California that would GLADLY take it off your hands!!! I don't think you are gonna like this quilt at all...I think you better run to the post office as soon as this is done.....

  9. Holy Cow! Your quilt is amazing. I secretly hope someone makes me one for a wedding present so that I can have one, but won't have to cut out and sew all of those tiny squares myself. I admire you for taking on the challenge.

  13. Oh my goodness......how beautiful! I'm not sure which is prettier, the front or the back! You could flip it over and show a different side each day and enjoy it doubly as much! Just beautiful! I found your site through the Sew and Tell links and I'm so happy I stumbled upon the that site, and yours! :-)

What, like August of THIS year?? You are FINE. LOL! I have things that have been sitting around waiting for backs or borders or quilting for literally years.

I can't believe this is the back. This is a truly reversible quilt! Beautiful!
